Move an asset to a new parent. The asset keeps its child assets, so everything under it moves with it. Omit new_parent_id to detach the asset and make it a root asset.
If the asset’s hierarchy has 500 assets or more, the move runs in the background. Assets might still show their previous position in the hierarchy until the move is completed.
The number of hierarchy levels depends on your plan. Premium allows 2 levels (a parent and its children). Enterprise allows up to 10 levels.
Requirements
If your organization uses site-based access for assets, you can only move assets that the API token's user can access through their site membership.
